A 5-days wildness tour to Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Conservation Area will take you through to the most iconic parks in the country. Tarangire National Park has some of the highest population density of elephants as compared to anywhere in Tanzania, and its sparse vegetation, strewn with baobab and acacia trees, makes it a beautiful and distinctive location to visit. Itinerary

DAY 1ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE THEN NGORONGORO HIGHLANDS

  • In the Morning drive north of Arusha City across the Masai plains and on to Tarangire National Park.
  • The Park is home to Zebras, buffalo, gazelle, eland, and the Oryx.
  • The park also holds a high concentration of herds of elephants. Game viewing drive in the Park. A packed lunch will be served at a special picnic site.
  • Late afternoon drive out of the Park with splendid views of the Great Rift Valley wall and on to the Ngorongoro Highlands. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

DAY 2NGORONGORO HIGHLANDS TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

  • After Breakfast, we will drive out of the Ngorongoro Highlands through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and on to Serengeti National Park with a game viewing drive En-route.
  • The late afternoon continues to drive to your Tented Camp. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Tented Camp.

DAY 3SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

  • This day will be spent exploring the vast Serengeti national park with its endless plains.
  • Every year, more than a million wildebeests, Zebras, and Thomson Gazelle gather to undertake the long trek in such grazing land, this is popularly referred to as the great annual migration.
  • The park is also rich in plain games and predators. Optional hot air balloon safari available over the Serengeti Plains. Meals and overnight at Serengeti tented camp.

DAY 4SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK TO NGORONGORO CRATER

  • After breakfast, we will drive out of the Serengeti National Park and head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
  • Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive where one can be able to see the Big 5, Lion, Cheetah, Buffalo, Elephant, and Rhino. Picnic lunch served by the Crater picnic site.
  • Late afternoon ascend the Crater and continue driving to Ngorongoro Highlands. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

DAY 5NGORONGORO TO ARUSHA CITY

  • After a leisure breakfast drive, we will start our journey back to Arusha City arriving by mid-day, and head straight to the airport. An extended accommodation can be arranged for an extra fee.
  • If you wish to extend your safari then it is well worth spending time in Lake Manyara as a great complimentary safari destination nearby in Tanzania.
