Zanzibar Island is an archipelago of islands, famous for its mix of fascinating beaches, spice plantations, remarkable history, and diverse culture. With the most famous being Unguja located just 25 km from the mainland coast of Dar es Salaam, the island is also home to many endangered species, including the red colobus monkey and green turtle. The 8-day Safari Tanzania Zanzibar tour includes a visit to the Prison Island Boat Trip, Kizimkazi Dolphin Tour, Safari Blue Boat Trip, Stone Town City Tour, Jozani Forest Tour, Beach tour, and the Spice tour.

Arrive at Zanzibar airport/harbor and transfer to South or East Coast Hotel for check-in.
Morning at 09:00 we will start our tour to Stone Town City which takes us around to this historical, cultural, and architectural important part of town with tones of history. It includes a visit to the former slave market site, which now stands as an Anglican church built in 1871, the town market, visit the Zanzibar Memorial Museum, House of Wonder built-in 1883 (Beit-Al-Ajab), Old Arab Fort, Palace Museum, Old Indian dispensary (Cultural Center) to Maruhubi Palace Ruins via Living Stone House.
At 02:00 pm we will move on for a Spice Tour, on this tour you will see and taste the tropical fruits, spices plantation, or plots on the island. A variety of spices plants used as ornaments, medicines, flowers, fruits, and other interesting flora can be seen during the spice tour and visit Kidichi bath built-in 1850 by the first Sultan for his wife Sheharzad (granddaughter of Fateh Ali Shah of Persia and back to town for dinner and overnight at your hotel.
At 9:00 am we will hop by for a Safari Blue tour. A full day sailing/snorkeling/sunbathing on a traditional dhow and seafood barbecue. Setting sail from Fumba, you will explore Menai Bay where dolphins are often sighted. At Kwale Island you’ll be served a buffet of grilled fish, lobster, calamari, chickens, and coconut rice. The boat sails to a stunning natural lagoon where there is an opportunity to swim before the day is over and back to town for dinner and overnight at your hotel.
At 9:00 pm we will start our tour to the prison Island. A full day at the Prison Island Boat, home of Aldabra Giant Tortoises. Flanged by an amazing beach of reef sanctuary, the island is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and beach relaxation.

At 8:30 we will start our southern coast tour to Kizimkazi. We will take our time in Kizimkazi, where we will have a chance to watch and play with the dolphins, you may as well swim with hundreds of spinner & bottlenose dolphins, playing off Kizimkazi beach & get a chance to experience a special natural message in the warm waters of the Indian ocean. At 2:30 pm we will drive to Jozani Forest for Red Colobus Monkeys, natural forest, and mangrove forest, late in the day we will move back to town for dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Full day beach relaxing at the hotel, dinner, and overnight.
Pick-up from hotel/resort transfer to the harbor/ airport for departure.

Are there sharks in Zanzibar?
