Day 1: Karatu to Serengeti National Park After an early breakfast, you will depart from Karatu to Serengeti National Park, driving through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with the option of visiting Olduvai Gorge.The game drive will take you to the vast Serengeti plains home of the big game animals, the predators, great migration, and the Nile crocodiles.Around sunset, you will head for dinner and overnight at your accommodations. Day 2: Serengeti National Parkto Ngorongoro Conservation Area On day two, there will be another game drive in Serengeti.In the afternoon, you will drive En route (optional stopover at Olduvai) to the rim of Ngorongoro Crater for dinner and overnight with an excellent view of the crater floor from the highlands! Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha City On day three, you will wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then descend into the crater floor for a game drive.All the Big Five such as rhino, lions, buffalo, and elephant, live in this wonderful caldera. Others that live here are zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena, and more. Birds include flamingos on Soda Lake, geese, storks, vultures, and more.Your lunch will be served at the picnic site in the crater at Ngoitoktok swamp, a Hippo pool. After lunch, you will drive back from the crater via Arusha city to the airport. Extended accommodation can be arranged for an extra fee.
